The client is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and service of high‑performance reciprocating and diaphragm compressors. With over a century of expertise in hydrogen compression, the company supports mission‑critical applications across the petrochemical, chemical, and energy sectors, including hydrogen mobility.
The reciprocating compressor industry is increasingly shaped by the expansion of LNG infrastructure, rapid growth in hydrogen ecosystems, and modernization of refinery and petrochemical operations. At the same time, digitalization is becoming a core industry trend, with manufacturers adopting data‑driven operations, predictive maintenance, and automation to improve reliability, reduce lifecycle costs, and support scalable global growth, particularly across Asia‑Pacific and clean‑energy markets.
The client’s current application ecosystem limited enterprise visibility, efficiency, and scalability, impacting project execution, manufacturing performance, financial control, and compliance. These constraints were increasing the operational risk and slow business responsiveness across engineering, procurement, supply chain, and IT. Key challenges included:
Limited Operational Visibility
· Lack of real‑time insights into project costs, planning, inventory, production progress, and manufacturing KPIs, restricted proactive decision‑making.
Legacy ERP Constraints
· The client’s legacy system carried high maintenance overhead, outdated workflows, and significant technical debt, limiting agility and scalability.
Manual, Inefficient Processes
· Manual processes for key activities including project tracking, time entry, BOM updates, production hours, and statutory reporting resulted in slower operations and reduced accuracy.
Fragmented System Landscape
· Disconnected and siloed applications result in inconsistent data, delayed decisions, and inefficient reporting across functions.
Unstructured Operational Controls
· Lack of a unified, monitored process framework for subcontracting, procurement cycles, master planning, and warehouse activities.
Regulatory and Localization Gaps
· Insufficient Dutch localization to comply with the specific legal, regulatory, and business requirements of the Netherlands created compliance risks and increased the burden of statutory adherence.
LTM partnered with the client to deliver a global ERP transformation built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. Over the past four years, the program has successfully rolled out across India, Spain, the UK, and the Netherlands, with Denmark currently in execution. The initiative replaced multiple legacy platforms—including ISAH, Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0, and Tally—with a single, standardized D365 Finance and Operations solution, enabling improved process harmonization, regulatory compliance, and real‑time financial visibility across global operations.
